Announcing Summer 2012 Musical Auditions!

The auditions page is up for the summer 2012 production of our new, original musical comedy A Shakespearean Tale! The registration form is easy to fill out and convenient to email. [We will never share your email.] And the rehearsal calendar is available.

We are currently in the final rehearsals for our own private, homeschool co-op, drama-class production of this fun and fanciful musical. We’ll post some pictures soon.

If you appreciate Broadway-style numbers, if you enjoy pretty ballads, and if you just love some fancy fiddlin’ country swing, you’ll really like the music in this show. It makes you want to “go down yonder” and do a little dancin’!

And this music is live, with some lively musicians!

We’ll be combing the North Texas area around the university town of Denton to find some good singers and enthusiastic actors. We’re looking for young people from age 9 to 20 to play everything from mice to Shakespeare, from country kids to New York lawyers, from Southern belles to Shakespeare-spouting Alabama truck drivers.

C’mon and join us! As Will Surrey says, “Come on along! You’re all welcome.” It’s pure fun!
